Valve Teases Possible Counter-Strike 2 Launch For September 27 – DS – Game Solution

Following the initial promise of a complimentary update during the summer, the official release of Counter-Strike 2, a sequel to the renowned first-person-shooter, is yet to materialize. However, recent activity on social media suggests that this may change on September 27.

The official X account of the game recently posed a straightforward question: “What are your plans for next Wednesday?” No further posts have been made, and Valve has not made any announcements since the publication of this post.

Counter-Strike 2 was initially revealed in March as a complimentary update to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, with all earned items in CS:GO carrying over to the new installment. A limited test was conducted for current CS:GO players, with invitations sent to users based on factors such as playing time and Steam account status.

The most recent update for the limited test of Counter-Strike 2 was published on the official game website on August 31. The post unveiled a new map called Inferno, which will be included in the upcoming update, along with the introduction of the new CS Rating ranking system.
